About the Role
Location: Black Rock, St. Michael
Pay: BBD $10.71–$15 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time; scheduled shifts within Tuesday–Saturday availability between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM
Yelluh Meat is looking for a warm, reliable Service Host to welcome guests, take orders and keep the counter moving.
We need someone who can make every guest feel welcome, take orders accurately and stay calm when the line is long.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Welcoming guests and guiding them through the menu and specials
Answering the phone within three rings and returning missed calls promptly
Taking dine-in, takeout and delivery orders on the POS, including the guest's name and phone number
Promoting add-ons, current campaigns and our Yelluh Meat Posse and VIP Club loyalty programmes
Handling cash, card, mobile and gift card payments accurately
Delivering orders to the counter, dining area and car park
Packaging takeout orders and handing off to delivery partners
Clearing tables and keeping the counter, dining room and outdoor seating clean and stocked
Communicating with the kitchen to keep orders flowing
Handling guest concerns calmly
Completing opening, side work and closing checklists
The Service Host reports to the Service Lead.
What We Are Looking For
You should have:
Strong guest-service and communication skills
Comfort using a POS and handling cash
The ability to perform simple maths quickly and accurately
The ability to stay calm and accurate during busy service
The ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Reliable attendance and punctuality
A valid food handler certificate
Restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation
BBD $10.71–$15 per hour
Placement within the range will reflect experience and performance during the paid trial.
Staff meals and training are provided, with a path to Service Lead as the company grows.

Paid trial with the team (up to one week)
Finalists completing the paid trial will receive BBD $250.
