In this role you’ll take orders quickly and accurately, moving fast without ever rushing a guest, smiling while handling five orders at once, and keeping your station spotless without missing a beat. You’ll explain our bowls with pride, stay calm under pressure, and do it all with a confident vibe that keeps the line flowing and guests coming back. If you’re someone who can light up a space and keep it running smoothly—even on the busiest of days—we want you on our frontline!

As our Service Hostess, you are the face of Yelluh Meat. You influence how every guest remembers us—whether a visiting tourist or a loyal local. When you connect with someone, suggest the perfect bowl, or solve a problem fast, you create memories and drive repeat business.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome every guest with warmth, energy, and a personal touch.

  • Guide guests through the menu, specials, and loyalty programs.

  • Take orders quickly and accurately via the POS for dine-in, takeout, and delivery.

  • Upsell items and explain promotions to boost ticket averages and guest satisfaction.

  • Keep the service and dining areas clean, stocked, and guest-ready at all times.

  • Process cash, card, mobile payments, and gift cards with 100% accuracy.

  • Communicate clearly with cooks and teammates to keep service flowing.

  • Coordinate and package takeout and delivery orders to ensure everything leaves perfectly.

  • Jump in to support with plating, packing, or cleaning when needed.

  • Respond to guest needs or complaints calmly and professionally, on the spot.


Results

  • 90 %+ guest satisfaction on reviews and feedback.

  • Orders entered and closed with zero errors during your shift.

  • Guest complaints are resolved professionally and immediately.

  • Loyalty sign-ups and upsell goals hit regularly.

  • Dining and service areas consistently meet Yelluh Meat’s hygiene and vibe standards.

  • Complete all checklists on time and to standard.

Requirements

You’re friendly, reliable, and people-focused. You thrive in routines but bring energy and positivity to every shift.

  • Naturally warm and welcoming—people remember how you made them feel.

  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.

  • You stay calm and clear-headed during peak service.

  • Detail-oriented with strong memory and focus.

  • Self-motivated—you don’t wait to be told, you just do.

  • Tech-comfortable with point-of-sale systems and mobile apps.

  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.

  • A flexible, "jump-in" attitude—no task is beneath you.

  • A genuine pride in Barbadian culture and cuisine.
