About the Role
We are looking to hire a responsible custodian to maintain an attractive, sanitary, and safe environment for guests and staff. As a custodian, you will perform a variety of special cleaning operations, and assist in preparing facilities for daily activities and special events.
Who You Are
Our ideal candidate has,
Great physical endurance and strength to cover a large space.
A keen eye for detail and diligence.
Proven experience as custodian, janitor, or in a similar role.
Knowledge of the use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components.
Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices
What You'll Do
Your day-to-day goal is to help Yelluh Meat create an environment that makes guests repeatedly return.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Prepare facilities and grounds for daily operations (e.g. opening gates, raising flags, sweeping walkways, cleaning outdoor seating areas and parking lot, etc.)
Sweep and mop floors.
Clean mirrors, doors, and windows
Wash and sanitize toilets, and sinks and restock disposables (e.g. soap, paper towels, etc.)
Maintain outer premises by watering plants, mowing lawns, and cleaning curbs and entrances.
Utilize insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests
Prepare firewood; maintain clean and organized wood storage areas.
Perform maintenance and minor repairs (replacing broken switches, fixing door handles, minor leaks, etc.)
Report major damages and oversee repairs.
Wash down and clean general facilities, garbage bins, and storage areas.
Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out the trash, tidying furniture, and dusting surfaces.
Secures facilities and grounds (e.g. doors, gates, alarms, lights, etc.) for the purpose of minimizing property damage, equipment loss, and/or potential liability.
Oversee routine waste removal and major facilities maintenance.
Complete any other tasks or directives issued by your Manager or Supervisors in a polite, timely, and accurate manner.
Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies.
Set up and break down catering and event stations and tables.
Fill in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
