About the Role

The Catering Sales Manager is a dynamic role responsible for orchestrating exceptional catering experiences, coordinating events, and driving sales in the catering segment. This role involves strategic planning, sales efforts, and meticulous execution of various on-site and off-site events.

  • Sales-oriented approach to drive revenue growth in the catering segment.

  • Proficiency in using event planning software, productivity tools, and CRM systems.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage budgets effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing event dynamics.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

  • Valid food handler certificate.

What You'll Do

Your day-to-day goal is to help Yelluh Meat create memorable experiences that fosters raving fan client loyalty.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute strategies to promote and sell event catering services, driving revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and tailor offerings to exceed their expectations.

  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including menu selection, logistics, staffing, and setup.

  • Create event proposals and contracts, ensuring clear communication of services, terms, and pricing.

  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure menu items are prepared and presented to the highest standards.

  • Oversee event setup, decor, and ambience, ensuring every detail aligns with the client's vision.

  • Manage event staff, ensuring they are well-prepared and provide exceptional service throughout the event.

  • Attend events to oversee execution, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.

  • Analyze post-event feedback to continually improve offerings and exceed client expectations.

  • Collaborate with marketing to promote event services through various channels.

  • Maintain a strong network of vendors and suppliers to enhance event offerings.

  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
